Export Agent

Location: Los Angeles, California

Pay: $50,000/year

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Export Agent to manage and facilitate the export of goods, ensuring compliance with international regulations and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, carriers, and customs officials to streamline export processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods through logistic pathways.
• Communicate with clients to ensure compliance with export regulations and timely delivery.
• Arrange for transportation, warehousing, or product distribution of imported or exported goods.
• Provide guidance on export restrictions, tariff systems, letters of credit, insurance requirements, and other customs-related matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an export agent or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
